pretty choir things  we <3 singing yay. anyway, minutes for today (: 1. Sessions with Meng Da Peng 16/11/07 a)NJC Session: 2-330pm b)Sectional Seminar: 7-9pm ($35) 17/11/07 a) Combined Workshop: 9–12pm with 10 secondary & 2 JCs b) Basic Conducting Workshop: 2-430pm ($35) 2.Caroling We will be having caroling. Sheraton Hotel is confirmed on the 24th and 25th December. Whoever has booked holidays during the periods that we are supposed to have practices, please inform me & the teachers-in-charge. We will be passing out carol scores next week & everyone is supposed to learn 2 songs a week. (lingchung/gnia will be posting to inform of which 2 to learn) then, SLs will have to test the competition song + 2 carols during the Special Sectionals. *MIDI WILL BE GIVEN, FURTHER DETAILS TO BE CONFIRMED. 3. Choir Camp '07 tentatively on the 13 & 14 DECEMBER just a simple 2 day 1 night camp ALL SENIORS WELCOMED TO COME AND JOIN US! (: (: (: 4. Fund-Raising We have $10k to raise. *raise double eyebrows* okay any donations/lobang.. YES WE NEED IT ALL. currently we have chocolates & mochi sales. 5.Cantabile 08 is quite confirmed 5/5 - 15/5 (: 6. Committee MEETING NEXT WEDNESDAY (TENTATIVELY) AT 7 AT CHOIR STORE. BOTH EXCO & MUSICCOM. PLEASE CONFIRM ATTENDANCE/ TELL CONAN IF YOU CANT COME. 7. OGL We understand that Orientation is really fun and many of us may want to participate in the activities. However, we do hope you consider the consequences and the time constraints that we have. - 2 weeks in November - 2 weeks in December (focus is on Caroling) - 2 weeks in January (if you're considering full Orientation) - 3 weeks in February (because next year the J1s have only 1 month, so tentatively, you MIGHT have to help out in O2.) ON TOP OF THAT, - the four songs that we will be learning is not confirmed, and ms lim says there is a high chance of us re-learning the repertoire. - make-up lessons may be conducted after orientation activities so you have high chances of missing choir. - plus all the after camp OG-bonding sessions - YOU MIGHT LOSE YOUR VOICE/ FALL SICK. - we have only 20 odd of us next year, any lesser will be really ineffective for practices. (current IP2s will begone for Orientation) please please consider the consequence if you are really keen in it. all OGL applicants, please inform us or the teachers-in-charge so we can account for attendance. we understand that it wasn't discouraged in the past years, but this year is exceptionally tight for us. lets really focus on the trip and work hard for this k (: 10:14 PM
